My name is Malik and i am a student at the University of West Georgia. I am a mass communications major with a film studies minor. Any type of media work is my focus of interest for school related jobs. My hometown is Atlanta, Georgia and i dont have a steady hobby but i deal with music everyday so that might count. Other than that i just live life on improve.

One example of an issue of media depicting minorities is when hurricane Katrina attacked New Orleans. According to the media every time a family was "looting" they happened to be black and every family that was white were "finding". This is just one example that shows how the media separates the two races when they are both in the same predicaments and perform the same actions.
